Circus makes West Pasco stop

Published:

The 2014 edition of Loomis Bros. Circus will be at All Sports Arena tonight and Saturday.

The show features acrobats, clowns, aerialists, thrill acts and more. The circus also showcases elephants and tigers.

The circus’s producer and ringmaster, Justin Loomis, promises the best circus ever to play the area.

Loomis Bros. Circus began as a childhood dream for Loomis, according to the firm’s website.

Now in its 17th year, the Bushnell-based show travels throughout the country, concentrating on the southern United States and visiting a different city every almost ever other day.

All animals in the show receive excellent care — 24 hours a day, seven days a week, circus officials said.

Loomis Bros. Circus has the ability to play in all types of venues — large or small, indoors or outdoors, rain or shine.

The circus often raises money for schools and charitable organizations such as the Boys & Girls Club, Lions Club and zoo teaching programs.

The first show will be at 7 p.m. today at the arena at 7716 Rutilio Court. Three shows on Saturday will be at 1, 4 and 7 p.m.

All seating is general admission and doors open one hour prior to the scheduled show time.

Advance tickets can be purchased online at www.loomiscircus.com.

On the day of the shows, the circus accepts cash only at the on-site box office.
