Hernando County’s Relay for Life raises money for cancer

Published:

Each year some 4 million people in more than 20 countries raise money and awareness to fight cancer during the Relay For Life movement.

On Friday evening, luminary bags lit up the track at Hernando High School as people gathered to show support for Hernando County’s Relay For Life event.

Participants walked the track in silence, following the lead of a bagpiper playing a haunting melody.
