Published:

Local business owners and CHEK Practitioners, Herson and Kim Garcia, recently hosted a certification course taught by David Weinstock, Neurokinetic Specialist from Marin County, California.

Neurokinetic Therapy is a scientific technique developed by Weinstock to address the underlying cause of dysfunctional movement patterns and itís relation to pain in the human body. The technique is being utilized to accelerate pain relief, posture correction and prevent chronic injury by correcting improper movement patterns stored in the brain.

The workshop was held over the weekend of March 22-24 and was well attended by two physicians from Walter Reed Military Hospital, several Chiropractors, C.H.E.K. Practitioners, Physical Therapists, Massage Therapists, Athletic Trainers, various fitness coaches, Naturopaths and the first ever Veterinarian, Dr. Carol Marusak from Brooksville. Attendees arrived from areas such as the U.S. Virgin Islands, Iowa, Washington D.C. and Canada. Each has to complete three case studies to demonstrate their understanding of the technique and a private session with Weinstock to gain their final certifications in NKT Level 1.

For Spring Hill, it was a great event to bring in new visitors and new treatment modalities. For health and wellness, it was a monumental event integrating the minds and skills of professionals who are passionate about delivering authentic solutions to pain relief and better health.
