Preschool Palooza

The Early Learning Coalition of Pasco and Hernando Counties, Inc. will host a "Preschool Palooza," a children's concert in Spring Hill starting at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Locomo Skating Rink, 10451 County Line Road, Spring Hill. Tommy Girvin, aka "Mr. Tommy." is known for his talented guitar work with his 25-year history as lead guitarist for Eddie Money. Mr. Tommy will rock the rink while children dance and sing as they enjoy sing-a-long songs brought to life by Mr. Tommy.

Tickets are $4 per person and quantities are limited. To purchase tickets, contact Bev Doucet at b.doucet@phelc.org or stop in at one of the four Early Learning Coalition offices in either Pasco or Hernando County.

Ghost tour

A ghost tour of the May Stringer Historical Museum, 601 Museum Court, Brooksville, is currently available by reservation.

According to the legend, the 151-year-old former residence of Frank Saxon is still inhabited by some of its residents, including 3-year-old Jessie May Saxon. Hand-held cameras and recording devices are permitted on the tour.

Awards banquet

American Legion Post No. 99 will host a "Academic excellence and achievement awards" banquet 6-11 p.m. Saturday at the post, 208 E. Fort Dade Ave., Brooksville.

There will be food and music. Attendees are asked to bring a dish to share.
