Good call, Tennessee VW plant workers

Bravo! All the workers at the VW plant in Tennessee, Bravo! All those free thinking patriotic Americans could see was the destruction brought upon Detroit by the UAW was to cast aside that very union. The German parent company wanted to shove the Euro-socialist labor trash on the American workers in Tennessee and were given a firm nien.

Organized crime, oops I mean labor, has been the single biggest reason for outsourcing, just look no further than GE. It has shipped huge amounts of manufacturing jobs approximately 30 percent to, who else, China. Jobs that range from medical technology to the aerospace industry. Unionization killed Detroit and worst of all our educational system. Teachers no longer care what subjects our children are learning as long as they can get a certain grade on standardized tests which translate to tenure, which translates to job security guaranteed by those same unions via contract. This is why our students increasingly fall way behind other countries in such insignificant areas as math, science and communication skills since they are not as important as the PC rubbish. For all of those who are apt to defend teachers just take a hard look at their subject matter loaded with political correct nonsense like ethno-studies or how a boy who innocently hugs or gives a simple kiss on the cheek to a girl is vilified and excoriated as a sexual harasser or if you hold up some one or group for honors in academics it is damaging to the self-esteem of someone who is not such a good student, more PC nonsense.

Unions served a purpose once but now that time has long since passed there are more than enough laws on the books to protect all workers and that is why their membership is on a steep decline as more and more people see they just want their hard earned dollars to fund the lavish lifestyles of their leadership.

The right of the people to alter or abolish.

Our form of government is derived from the people, who elected those who will govern us justly. They are elected to serve for a time to run the government on our behalf. They are paid servants who serve at our pleasure.

It was "We the people" that formed the rules by which we would be governed. The U.S. Constitution is the "rule book" by which those that run our government must abide by. That includes the highest ranking person elected to office, that being the president of the United States of America.

It is most disturbing to have our president ignore or not follow our Constitution. As the leader of the nation, he should set an example about obeying the law and upholding the Constitution. Before he enter on the execution of his office, he shall take the following oath or affirmation:- "I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the office of president of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."

With the passing of time, and with elected officials that fall short of their honesty and loyalty to this country, the oath or affirmation of office has become perfunctory.

President Obama is being disrespectful to the Congress and the people he serves when he says he will use his pen and his phone to make his own laws. The Constitution is the supreme law of the land and if one violates it, they are essentially violating the others.

No raises for teachers

They talk about a pay raise for the teacher, why?

They do not teach anymore. Take away the iPad, Kindle and computer and they are all about dummies (sorry but they are). What happened to the three R's.

Ask any teenager what five times five is, they just look at you. Who is the dummy here?

Now the teachers want more money, for what, sitting on their desk?

They call this education, where?

I do agree everything is going up, up, up. Where is all this money going? Especially for the senior citizens, we cannot afford it.

ACORN's new housing disaster

Fraudulent ACORN is still alive and still up to its old fraudulent ways. Have we forgotten the fraudulent acts of ACORN incurred during the first election of Obama, in his behalf?

Obama was responsible for legislation hiring ACORN to get out the vote. As a result of this payment ACORN was fully financed and was able to greatly enlarge its organization.

ACORN did get out the vote, but it involved hundreds of thousands of fraudulent votes throughout the country, which helped Obama get elected.

These fraudulent votes incurred by ACORN, were disclosed in hearing before congress, but nothing was ever done to prosecute the ACORN executives and members by Obama's attorney general, and ACORN was paid in full for their fraudulent acts.

Now ACORN and its new spinoff companies are involved in new mischief, which is having the government provide housing ownership and mortgaging for people who cannot afford the down payment and who do not have sufficient income to obtain mortgaging.. Thus the government will go into debt for the entire project.

This proposed ACORN project which the Obama administration is considering, is the same thing that caused the collapse of our economy in 2008 with massive unemployment, resulting in the sale of homes and mortgaging which the buyers could not afford to pay.

Top executives of the Obama administration for housing and mortgaging have been meeting with ACORN and its spinoff companies for over a year in 2013 and the parties have drawn up plans for the above project for Obama to present to the public in the near future.

The above proposal will cost the government and the taxpayer $9 trillion dollars or more and will finally destroy our economy.

ACORN represents the extreme left wing and Obama is a part of this left wing (communists).

It's time for congress to put a stop to this project and start to protect our economy.
