Bolton should put up or shut up

I read Craig Bolton’s article “Christians in Name Only.” The only thing I found missing in his article was his offer to pay for and support the illegal children out of his own pocket. He seems to condemn others and calls them Christians in name only. Craig, put your money where your mouth is. Otherwise shut up. You add no value, just meaningless words. Prove otherwise by offering your home and assets to these illegals.

p.s. Oh, you guess taxpayers should pay. You get a pass I guess! Craig, wondering do you pay federal taxes?

No excuse for bad parenting

Being a parent of four kids and a grandfather of many more, I just can’t comprehend any parent leaving a child in a car and saying they forgot they were in there. I’m sorry, I just don’t buy that excuse.

There is nothing more important than your children and anyone who claims they had some other priority that was so important it made them forget their child was in the car shouldn’t be a parent.

I am sorry, there is no excuse for this kind of neglect. Child Services should immediately pull that child out of that situation if and remove any other siblings from that parent until they can prove they are responsible enough to rear them. You can’t teach common sense but you can remove the parents who lack it.

Unfortunately, this kind of behavior is inherited in a lot of cases an stems from the lack of parenting passed down through generations. Sad but true and sometimes the end results can be deadly.

Misleading opinions about the Supreme Court decision

It was interesting to read the Democratic talking points concerning the SCOTUS Hobby Lobby decision in the July 4 Tribune letters to the editor. Anyone who had been paying attention should know (if they really cared to) that the Hobby Lobby case was not about contraception. It was about “pill induced abortion.” Contraception is, “tending or serving to prevent conception or impregnation,” according to Dictionary.com. According to the same source, abortion is, “the removal of an embryo or fetus from the uterus in order to end a pregnancy.” Clearly, two different things. Hobby Lobby did not argue against providing insurance for their employees that covered “contraceptives.” They objected to providing insurance that covered pills that would induce the abortion of fertilized eggs. Two very different things. Yet the Democrats in their seemingly unending effort to mislead the public lump them together and claim the Republicans are waging a war on women by refusing them free contraception. Give me a break.

Hillary will ruin our way of life

Here we go again. The latest buzz is Hil-Billery Clinton is the anointed front runner for the demarxicratic nomination to run for president to which I ask “Have we learned nothing?”

Hil-Billery Clinton has done absolutely nothing to inspire faith that she could lead our country back to its former greatness. She is cut out of the same bolt of cloth as our current disgraceful POTUS. She is also a fawning sycophant of Saul Alinsky, the vilest of humans, who espouses the end of our great country and an avowed communist so we know where Ms. Clinton’s sympathies lie.

This poor excuse of a Secretary of State who aided and abetted Obama’s destruction of the trust and faith we once had with our allies can never be trusted. We need to get back to our roots, those established by our founding fathers where we are the ones in control of our collective destinies and government is there to serve us, not vice versa. Simply put, a vote for her is a vote for the extermination of our way of life.

President Obama’s POW

It seems President Obama is more interested in playing golf than trying to free Sgt. Andrew Tahmooressi from a foreign jail. This American Marine, who served our nation honorably, is being treated by our Mexican neighbors as a POW since March 31 and President Obama knows this.

Sgt. Andrew Tahmooressi spent American Independence Day as a captive in a foreign land; a land that happens to be our neighbor to the south and doing extensive business with them under the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA).

Is the Mexican government using Sgt. Tahmooressi as a pawn to demonstrate their sovereign rights to control their border as they see fit and exercising their political power over the United States at a time when so many illegals are crossing our borders. One has to wonder if President Obama is accommodating Mexico by doing nothing to release Sgt. Andrew Tahmooressi, who accidently had a border incident with Mexico, and President Obama knows this.

President Obama and his administration are more interested in accommodating the Mexican government. President Obama is constitutionally challenged to protect the American people and the U.S. Constitution and its laws, but instead he is blatantly ignoring the American people by not protecting our borders and our sovereignty.

President Obama is more interested in protecting the civil rights of the Mexican people and the terrorists we capture, than the civil rights of the American citizens, especially those in uniform serving our country. He would rather spend his time ordering the Justice Department to file a lawsuit against Arizona to challenge their new state law intended to combat illegal immigration.

President Obama needs to act as an American president and have Attorney General Eric H. Holder intervene on behalf of Sgt. Tahmooressi and seek his immediate release and have him returned to his mother, Jill Tahmooressi, who is from Weston.
