BROOKSVILLE - Brooksville City Council will have a regular meeting at 7 p.m. Monday at City Hall.
Council members are expected to vote on a resolution that would increase the number of cremated remains allowed in a single burial plot from two to six at the Brooksville Cemetery. The move would allow more revenue to be collected per plot, according to the meeting's agenda. If passed, the move also would limit future burials in the cemetery's historic areas to family members of those already interred there.
Council members also will discuss buying Christmas decorations, and allowing the sale of alcoholic beverages at a softball tournament at Jerome Brown Community Center later this month.
Brooksville City Hall is at 201 Howell Ave. and can be reached by phone at (352) 540-3810.
