BROOKSVILLE - Brooksville City Council will hold a financial workshop at 6 p.m. Tuesday evening at City Hall.
City Council will hear an update on the city's finances for the first quarter of fiscal year 2014.
The workshop is also an opportunity for council to discuss the city's fire and police forces. Last year, Mayor Kevin Hohn said the Brooksville Fire Department was too costly for the city, and the council asked City Manager Jennene Norman-Vacha to review the possibility and costs of consolidating fire and law enforcement services with the county.
Council is also expected discuss the fee waiver process, the agenda shows.
