Burglar gets 3 years for crimes

Published:

BROOKSVILLE - Just two weeks after his arrest, Eloy Feliciano was sentenced to three years in prison for multiple burglaries on Cadbury Road in Spring Hill.

Feliciano lived on the same street, just a few houses away from the residence he burgled four times from June 17 through June 28, according to Assistant State Attorney Matthew Pila.

Pila said Feliciano took items including fishing rods and a pressure washer to support his Dilaudid addiction.

Feliciano, 26, was originally charged with four counts of burglary and two counts of grand theft and criminal mischief. Court records show prosecutors pursued a single burglary charge.

Feliciano was adjudicated guilty on grand theft charges on July 9.
