The Hernando County Fairgrounds has been transformed for Christmas into Candy Cane Acres.

From 6-10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday nights leading up to Christmas the public can pay $10 a carload to view lights set to music, Santa and Mrs. Clause and trees decorated in different themes.

There are hayrides around the property and hot chocolate and cookies for sale.

Ten tickets are included in the cost of admission and can be used to pay for refreshments and rides.
