— The city is accepting nominations for the next “Great Brooksvillian.”

This annual program recognizes men and women who have made positive contributions to the history, culture and/or economy of the community.

The city is also accepting applications from volunteers wishing to serve on the screening committee to review the nominations received for the Great Brooksvillian.

Information, program criteria and nomination forms are available for download on the city’s website at www.cityofbrooksville.us.

Deadline for submission of nominations is Friday, Aug. 15 and completed forms must be received by the city clerk no later than 5 p.m.
