BROOKSVILLE - Following the release of school grades Friday, Hernando County School District has postponed selecting the next principal of Explorer K-8 until Monday.

School Superintendent Lori Romano said the decision has boiled down to two candidates.

"My cabinet is coming in first thing Monday morning, and we'll make a decision then," she said. "With the school grades coming out, we decided to wait until Monday, but the interview process is finished."
