SPRING HILL - The Hernando County Sheriff's Office seized 17 marijuana plants and 27 pounds of processed marijuana at 9543 Century Drive on Wednesday afternoon.

Sgt. Tim Bammert said vice and narcotics deputies discovered a marijuana grow operation at the Spring Hill home.

On Tuesday, Yonny Karel Seculitolosa, 32, was arrested on charges of cultivation of marijuana, trafficking in drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia and manufacturing a controlled substance. He was being held on $15,500 bail.

Juan Garcia, 39, was arrested on charges of cultivation of marijuana. He was being held on $5,000 bail.

Both men have Tampa addresses, according to booking records.

The team of law enforcement officers broke into walls with sledge hammers during the search, and Bammert said they found the home's floor saturated with water from the operation.

The house is expected to be condemned when the sheriff's office completes the investigation, according to Bammert.

Law enforcement also found power was being diverted from a neighbor's meter.

The home is owned by Morningside Funding LLC, a Houston-based real estate investment company, according to the property appraiser's website.
