SPRING HILL Vice and Narcotics recovered more than 20 grams of crack cocaine after serving a warrant Friday morning at 10313 Walton St. in Spring Hill.

The home search was the result of a five-week-long investigation by the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office, and detectives recovered 23.2 grams of crack cocaine, 1.19 grams of marijuana, 16.14 grams of the synthetic drug known as “Spice,” 36 rounds of .40 caliber ammunition, about $400 in cash and drug paraphernalia.

Ryan Hunter, 26, received nearly 20 drug-related charges, including possession of crack cocaine with intent to sell. Hunter was on probation for crack cocaine possession charges, and was booked on no bond. If he had not violated his probation, Hunter would have been eligible for an $182,000 bond.

Hunter’s girlfriend, Tiffany Harvin, 24, was arrested on charges of possession of marijuana and driving with a suspended license, and is being held on $1,000 bond.

The Florida Department of Children and Families were called for two children in the home, and two dogs were turned over to Hernando County Animal Services.
