The Spring Hill Power Rangers received a resolution of appreciation from the Hernando County Board of County Commissioners on Tuesday for their outstanding stewardship to the community.
The resolution recognized the group of Weeki Wachee High School students who dress in Power Ranger costumes for being positive role models in Hernando County.
The group brings awareness about bullying at schools, encourages reading and raises money for non-profit organizations.
The Power Rangers members are Adam Cooper, Jake Bence, Zach LaPrad, Matthew Hanley and Jenna Gouldey. The seniors are graduating this year and entering college.
