Hernando sheriff's office warns of robbery activity

BROOKSVILLE - With seven robberies involving weapons reported at area stores since December, the Hernando County Sheriff's Office is urging store clerks and business owners to remain alert.

All of the robberies continue to be investigated, according to sheriff's office Public Information Officer Denise Moloney.

The dates and locations of the robberies are:

??Dec. 2, 2013 at Cumberland Farms, 5244 Mariner Blvd. in Spring Hill

??Jan. 6 at Dollar General, 3449 Mariner Blvd. in Spring Hill

??Jan. 26 at Dollar General, 3449 Mariner Blvd. in Spring Hill

??Feb. 4 at Dollar General, 399 Broad St. in Masaryktown

??Feb. 9 at Cumberland Farms, 5244 Mariner Blvd. in Spring Hill

??April 4 at Dominos Pizza, 13081 Spring Hill Drive in Spring Hill

??April 6 at Dollar General, 399 Broad St. in Masaryktown

Sheriff's detectives are asking residents and employees to remain alert, especially at opening and closing times, and report any suspicious activity at (352) 754-6830.
