SPRING HILL - A Maryland man was arrested Sunday on a charge of disorderly intoxication after police say he was drunk and disturbing customers at the IHOP on Commercial Way.
Zackery Ryan Vanbuskirk, 25, was shirtless, yelling through the glass window of the restaurant at another man, deputies said.
Deputies gave Vanbuskirk several commands to leave the window, but he refused, the report shows.
"(He) crossed his arms and began making inappropriate gestures with his hands over his genitals, at the same time still standing in front of the window," a deputy wrote.
Another deputy arrived on scene, and Vanbuskirk moved away from the window and told the deputies he was leaving, according to the report.
The deputies detained Vanbuskirk in the back of a patrol car, where he attempted to kick out the window and placed his cuffs in the front of his body, the report shows.
A woman with Vanbuskirk told a deputy they were left behind by a friend, and decided to go to IHop to contact another friend for a ride home, the report shows.
While inside IHop, Vanbuskirk became belligerent with customers and would not listen to her when she was trying to get him to leave, the report shows.
Two customers told the deputy that, for unknown reasons, Vanbuskirk came up to the window while they were eating and begin calling one of the customers names, according to the report.
The customer called Vanbuskirk's comments "rude" and his actions, "disturbing," according to the report.
Vanbuskirk was taken to Hernando County Jail and held on $150 bond, the report shows.
