Man booked on charges of credit card fraud

BROOKSVILLE A Hudson man was arrested Tuesday morning after using an “acquaintance’s” credit card for purchases without his permission.

Roger Heck, 60, was seen on surveillance tape using the victim’s credit card when reviewed with a Hernando County detective. The victim recognized Heck on the footage as an acquaintance of more than 10 years. Heck took more than $800, according to the sheriff’s office

Heck was arrested on charges of fraudulent use of credit card and theft. Heck did admit to using the card with the victim’s permission.

The man was released on $4,000 bond.
