BROOKSVILLE - Damien Washington, 33, was booked on multiple drugs charges on Thursday night.

According to an arrest affidavit, Deputy Dane Jenkins was on patrol when he saw Washington riding a bicycle in the middle of Oakdale Avenue without a headlight.

Jenkins said he tried to pull over Washington, who "looked back and stated some obscenities and continued."

The deputy eventually had to physically remove Washington from his bike, according to the report.

Washington was found with crack cocaine, a pipe and marijuana in his pockets.

Washington, of B Street, was booked at the Hernando County Jail on charges of possession of cocaine, marijuana and drug equipment, as well as resisting an officer. He was no given a bond, due to already being out of jail on bond on charges of driving with a suspended license and possession of drug equipment.

Court records show Washington has been found guilty of multiple felony charges in the past.
