BROOKSVILLE - A Hudson man remained in jail on Wednesday on charges of disturbing the peace at a Brooksville Wal-Mart.
Officers responded to 7305 Broad Street on Tuesday morning after learning a man was "lunging at customers and waving his arms around" near the registers.
Matthew A. Madewell, 28, told police he was "just coming down from the high" of methamphetamines.
He was arrested on charges of disturbing the peace, and is being held in lieu of $500 bail.
Records do not show he has been arrested in Hernando County in the past.
