Pedestrian injured in Pasco County crash

NEW PORT RICHEY - A 66-year-old pedestrian was seriously injured Wednesday afternoon after walking into the path of a car being driven by a Spring Hill woman.

According to a Florida Highway Patrol report, James Neuendorf was walking across an access road near S. R. 54 and Madison Street around 2:18 p.m.

Neuendorf walked into the path of Linda Sue Tumminelli's Toyota car, according to the report.

Tumminelli, 65, was not injured.

Neuendorf, of New Port Richey, was taken to Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point with serious injuries.
