RIDGE MANOR - A Webster woman was ticketed for careless driving Thursday morning after a child preparing to get on a school bus was injured.

According to a Florida Highway Patrol report, Ramona Lujan-Rodriguez, 32, was driving west on S.R. 50, just east of Amelia Lane, when she didn't see a stopped school bus.

Lujan-Rodriguez, 32, avoided a collision with the bus but lost control of her Mercury Grand Marquis, spinning out on to the grass shoulder.

Her car collided with a parked Toyota Corolla.

A 6-year-old girl was getting out of the car to get on the bus, and was taken to St. Joseph's Hospital with minor injuries.

The driver of the Corolla, Earline Terry, also received minor injuries, according to the report. Lujan-Rodriguez's passenger was not injured.
