Spring Hill man booked for violating restraining order

Published:

SPRING HILL A 28-year-old Spring Hill man was booked Tuesday for violating a restraining order after being found in bed with the woman, the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office said.

The victim filed an injunction against Leonardo Morales in January, which was still active. The woman told deputies she tried to get the restraining order dropped.

Morales is being held on no bond at the Hernando County Jail.

Court records show Morales was found guilty of felony criminal mischief and assault charges in September 2012, and two counts of misdemeanor battery in January 2012. In 2009, Morales was convicted of falsely reporting a crime, and in 2008 of DUI and leaving the scene of an accident with property damage.
