SPRING HILL - A 13-year-old male was arrested on charges of lewd and lascivious exhibition at a Spring Hill McDonald's on Friday, according to the Hernando County Sheriff's Office.

An arrest affidavit shows the teen exposed himself and performed a sexual act in front of multiple people, including a 4-year-old special needs child, in the restaurant at 4166 Mariner Blvd. The juvenile later told Deputy Julio Tagliani he was just scratching an itch on his private parts.

The deputy later found pornographic websites in the browsing history on the teen's iPod, according to the report.

The suspect's name is not being published because of his age.

After being arrested on the felony charge, he was released to his parents per the Department of Juvenile Justice.
