Two Spring Hill homes hit by bullets

SPRING HILL - The Hernando County Sheriff's Office is looking for more information on shots fired the night of Aug. 29 in Spring Hill.

Two occupied homes at Arcadia Avenue and Parma Lane were hit by bullets, and deputies found nine brass casings in the street.

Major Crimes Det. Brent Stentz said home damage was "minimal" and one bullet entered a home.

Stentz did not comment on the time of day or type of rounds fired.
