Woman booked on disorderly intoxication charge

Published:

BROOKSVILLE - A 54-year-old Brooksville woman was arrested Wednesday on charges of disorderly intoxication.

Sandra Heap was found "heavily intoxicated" and lying down in the bushes outside of her Deepwood Street residence with a cut on her gums, according to a sheriff's office arrest affidavit.

When deputies asked Heap if any family members could come over to help her, she became "extremely irate" and was put into protective custody.

Heap yelled expletives at a deputy and said "I will have my brother kill your entire family and I hope you said goodbye for the last time."

After Heap tried to kick out the patrol car partition, deputies put leg shackles on her.

The arrest report shows Heap continued to threaten the deputies on the ride to the hospital and disrupted the emergency room by screaming "help me" and trying to kick law enforcement.

After being medically cleared, Heap was booked at the Hernando County Jail. She was released on $500 later in the afternoon.
