Nature Coast senior defensive end/wide receiver Rohan Blackwood has committed to the University of Wisconsin, his head coach Charles Liggett announced on his Twitter account Sunday night.

"Nature Coast DE Rohan Blackwood, upon returning from official visit to Wisconsin, has officially committed to be a Badger!" Liggett tweeted.

Barring a change of heart, the 6-foot-5, 215-pound All-County pick in both football and basketball will sign with the Division I Badgers on National Signing Day in February.

Blackwood, who had 78 tackles and 14 sacks in 2012, said during the preseason that he had received 11 D-I offers, the others coming from Florida International, Iowa State, Marshall, Minnesota, Nebraska, Purdue, South Alabama, UMass, USF and West Virginia.

He is currently in the midst of serving a three-week suspension following his ejection in a preseason game at Citrus. He'll be eligible to return Sept. 20 against Central.
