Church At Spring Hill To Feature Worship Team

Church at Spring Hill will feature a guest worship team - Andy and Julie Jennings, brother and sister, and their friend Steven Dalton at 10 a.m. Sunday, July 20, the church located at 6001 Deltona Blvd., Spring Hill. They lead anointed worship at their church in Kentucky. Andy leads and plays the guitar ;Julie sings and plays the piano. Steven plays the guitar, drums and bass. 'Evening of Joyful Music' At Spring Hill Lake House

Spring Hill Community Association will present "An Evening of Joyful Music" at 5 p.m. Saturday, July 26, at the Lake House located at 1202 Kenlake Ave., in the Palmwood Pavilion overlooking Hunters Lake in Spring Hill. A variety of performers from diverse Nature Coast area churches will be featured, such as Abel's Sacrifice, Belly of the Whale, Beth el Shalom Singers & Praise Dancers, Potters Clay and Xerocks. Since seating is limited, bring lawn chairs. Food, drinks, craft vendors, and literature booths will also be featured. LifeSouth Bloodmobile will be on-site.

Drama Team To Perform 'Raise the Flag'

Spring Hill Baptist Church will host the Academy of Arts Drama Team of Taylors, S.C., performing "Raise the Flag," a patriotic musical, at 6 p.m. Sunday, July 20, at the church located at 3140 Mariner Blvd., Spring Hill. The original musical by Nicky Chavers traces the integral part that Christianity played in the establishment of America, beginning with the sacrifices of the Pilgrim Fathers and ending with a Christian view of the Sept. 11 tragedy. Northcliffe Baptist To Host Dr. Woodward

Northcliffe Baptist Church will host Tom Woodward at 9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Sunday, July 20, at the church located at 10515 Northcliffe Blvd., Spring Hill. Dr. Woodward, director of the C.S. Lewis Society and Research Professor at Trinity College of Florida, will present the "Case for Design." Dr. Woodward is the author of several books in the Darwinism versus Design controversy including "Doubts about Darwin" and "Darwin Strikes Back."

He speaks internationally on the many lines of evidence that build a compelling case for Christian faith. He is a graduate of Princeton and Dallas Seminary and received his Ph.D. in the Rhetoric of Science at the University of South Florida. For more information, call 352-683-5882.

Fun Day Event To Kick Off VBS Program

First Baptist Church of Weeki Wachee Acres will kick off its Vacation Bible School program with a fun day event from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, July 19, at the church located at 8092 Toucan Trail, Spring Hill. Moonwalk, slide, rock climbing, obstacle course, games and food will be featured. The program and event is for ages 5 through 6th grade.

Aglow Lighthouse Invites Women To Breakfast

Aglow Spring Hill Morning Lighthouse invites all women for breakfast at 9 a.m. Monday, July 21, at Evergreen Woods Retirement Center in the Aspen building, 7040 Evergreen Woods Trail, off State Road 50, Spring Hill.
