William E. Eliason, 64, of Brooksville, died Monday, July 27, at Brooksville Regional Hospital. He was born in Detroit, Mich., and moved to this area a year ago from Inverness.
Mr. Eliason was a foreman in the construction industry, a Vietnam War U.S. Navy veteran and a member of the American Legion.
He is survived by his son, John Paul Eliason of Spring Hill.
Arrangements by Merritt Funeral Home, Brooksville Chapel.

Betty June Jackson, 78, of Brooksville, died Tuesday, July 28, at HPH Hospice Care Center. She was a born in Whiting County, Tenn., and moved to this area 32 years ago from Columbus, Ohio.
Mrs. Jackson was a histology technician at Lykes Memorial Hospital and a member of Gulf Ridge Park Baptist Church. She started the Histology Society in Columbus and Brooksville and taught Histology at PHCC.
Survivors include her husband, Earle; three daughters, Debra Dean Jackson of Clearwater, Andria Lee Jackson of Broward County and Vicky Sue Hubbard of Hollywood; a sister, Jewell Lawson Tunny of Centerburg, Ohio; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Arrangements by Merritt Funeral Home, Brooksville Chapel.

Sylvia Catherine Broder, 71, of Spring Hill, died Tuesday, July 28, at HPH Hospice House. She was born in Detroit, Mich., and moved to Florida 21 years ago.
Mrs. Broder was a Catholic by faith.
Survivors include her daughter, Rosemarie Grubba; a granddaughter; and two great-grandchildren.
