HERNANDO BEACH -

A Georgia woman was charged Monday night with criminal mischief and disorderly conduct following reports she caused a disturbance at Rogers Park.

Marijo Danielle Williams, 33, of Covington, Ga., was belligerent, intoxicated and wearing a knife in a sheath on her right hip, according to the Hernando County Sheriff's Office.

There were several people at the park – located at 7244 Shoal Line Blvd. – who complained about Williams' behavior, deputies said.

Williams was picked up shortly after 7:15 p.m. and was placed in the backseat of a patrol car, at which time she kicked and damaged the door, according to an arrest affidavit.

Deputies said they put leg restraints on her and placed in the back of another patrol car.

The knife Williams was wearing was not used in any crime, according to the sheriff's office.

Williams' bond was set at $650.
