The Leadership Hernando Class of 2012 recently conducted graduation ceremonies at the Southern Hills Plantation Club in Brooksville.

The program is sponsored by The Greater Hernando County Chamber of Commerce.

Sonia Gonzalez, of Oak Hill Hospital; Anesta Boice, of Capital City Bank; and Donna Lipidarov, also of Capital City Bank, were co-chairs of this year's steering committee.

Leadership Hernando's mission is to encourage, develop and provide leadership for the community.

Over 20 years and 400 graduates later, Leadership Hernando has played a vital part shaping the leaders of Hernando County, according to a chamber news release. The program has enhanced leadership skills, built future board members and increased community awareness amongst the graduates.

Applications for Leadership Hernando Class of 2013 will be available starting in March. For more information contact Dawn Badami at (352) 796-0697, or e-mail
