Lies and liars

A great lesson from mother was "a lie has short legs" and in addition you had better have a great memory to lie. It seems that there is no such "mother" advising the president and his staff of habitual liars.

Let's go back to "you didn't build your business, someone else did" immediately the spin doctors began the narrative that President Obama was talking about infrastructure. Go listen to the full unedited video and it is painfully clear he was not talking about roads and bridges because he used the terminology that "someone else did."

The truth of the matter is that Obama is a progressive or more clearly a socialist leaning individual. In earlier video clips of him speaking at a university, I believe, he clearly stated the he believed in redistribution (wealth) and mentioned it a second time. That line of thinking, of course, comes from no other than Karl Marx who stated in his writings "from each according to their ability, to each according to their need."

It can't be any clearer than that when the president speaks of fairness it is a code word for redistribution. However, he hasn't the intellectual honesty to clearly state what he truly believes because he knows it would turn off a majority of the American public.

He still has not released his school records which may indicate there is something in them he wants to hide. But remember he stated that his administration would be the most transparent administration ever; but yet the press has trouble getting the White House logs. The President's version of transparent is zero opacity.

We can then move on to Fast & Furious which the administration has been stonewalling for two years. Hundreds of guns were allowed to fall into the hands of Mexican drug cartels and the result has been the slaughter of hundreds possibly thousands of innocent Mexicans including the death of Border Patrol Officer Brian Terry.

Once again the spin doctors have been trying to sell the version that the program was started under the previous administration, like everything else the present administration has failed at. However, the program they point to was ended two years before President Obama's administration came to power.

We now have an Inspector General's report confirming many of the accusations made by a Congressional committee. But the lies continue to this day and the compliant media fails to do its job. Now we come to perhaps the most egregious acts of untruthfulness and misinformation of the present administration.

On the anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001 al-Qaida attack on the United States, in New York City, the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi Libya is attacked and four Americans are killed including the U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens. The spin by the administration was that this was a spontaneous incident following the demonstrations in Cairo, Egypt against a video trailer.

They went so far as to put the U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations on five (5) Sunday national news programs to make that ridiculous claim. The attack was carried out with military precision with light and heavy weapons.

It now appears we had information about such a possible attack but failed to take any preventative action. In fact our embassies in dangerous places were not provided extra security to protect our people or possessions. The administration claim that the FBI would be investigating is another falsehood as the FBI is still not on the scene and a CNN reporter went through the consulate and retrieved the Ambassador's diary.

We still have not been told how Ambassador Stevens and the other three Americans died. Why hasn't the administration conducted autopsies, or if they did where are the results? Instead what we get is double speak and more misinformation from the most inept and corrupt administration in recent history. We can now say Obama lied and people died.
