The Florida Athletic Coaches Association this week released its District 10 All-Star Teams, for seniors only and all grades.

Nature Coast's Matt Breida, the county's leading rusher and scorer, made both squads and was named the district's MVP.

Breida went into Friday's game against Hernando having run for 1,226 yards and 14 touchdowns.

Springstead's 6-foot-5, 280-pound center Will Allen also made both teams, along with teammates Pedro Estrada at cornerback and Luke McLeod at linebacker.

So did Nature Coast linebackers Josh Benyola and Joey Berrios, and free safety Frank Sampson.

Making each team for Hernando was defensive lineman Robert Hill Bronson and quarterback/running back Tyrail Hawkins as an offensive utility player.

Central's Quadavis Battle was a multi-team pick at the defensive utility spot.

Nature Coast junior defensive lineman Rohan Blackwood additionally garnered a nod on the team for all grades. Shark defensive lineman Sam Mazzia was tabbed for the senior squad.

Springstead head coach Bill Vonada, whose Eagles were 8-0 and in first place in Class 6A, District 6 prior to Friday's action, was the choice for Coach of the Year.

The district encompasses schools in Hernando and Pasco counties.
